tried homeschooling?

but want even more for your child?

The Acton Midwest mission is to inspire each child and parent who enters our doors to find a calling that will change the world.

He or she will:

  • Begin their Hero's Journey

  • Learn to be a curious, independent, lifelong learner.

  • Develop a deep respect for economic, political and religious freedoms.

  • Cherish the arts, wonders of the physical world and the mysteries of life on Earth.

  • Discover his or her most precious gifts and learn to use them to solve difficult problems.

We believe each child has a gift that can change the world in a profound way

We believe in a closely connected family of lifelong learners.

We believe in learning by knowing, learning by doing and learning by being.

We believe in economic, religious, and political freedom.

Carolyn Colleen bostrack

As a proud mom, corporate leader, and life & business strategist, I know it can feel impossible to add yet another thing to the task list. But I’m living proof that you can transform your life in the midst of all that’s going on in your life and on your to-do list.

I spend my days guiding individuals of all ages to make bold moves and ignite their evolution.

I enjoy soaking in quality time with my kids at every possible moment – both are a journey in worthiness, self-love and lifelong purpose.

I also read books I love, travel, and schedule in time with my friends and mastermind brothers and sisters because I’m committed to my own growth and development as much as my clients’.

Jackie Steiner

Jackie's boundless love for children came at an early age. With parents that took in foster kids and a mother and grandmother who opened and operated Montessori schools during her youth, she was gifted with experiences that few of us are ever exposed to. And she has always admired prominent female servant-leaders like Maria Montessori and Mother Theresa and is now following in their and her family's footsteps by bringing Acton Academy here to serve the children of Rochester. Her strong foundations in respect of the child, self-learning/freedom of choice, and multi-age classrooms really stems from her Montessori experiences. By combining that system with progressive educational goals, personal responsibilities, technological mastery, and the Socratic Method to ensure our future leaders of the world taught how to think instead of being taught what to think.

Ryan Steiner

As a primary care physician with a passion for self-development Ryan has always been a driven individual. This has led him to create and own multiple businesses over the years; all of which were operated within and served the city of Rochester and surrounding communities. From several health clinics to entertainment facilities and events to short and medium-term housing for visitors of the area, the range of contributions to the community is broad. With a growing family of his own Ryan has become increasingly aware of the need for a superior education for his children; and instead of waiting for Rochester to deliver this to him he decided to bring a superior educational system to Rochester. "Acton Academy Rochester is positioned to be the premiere private educational system in Southern Minnesota and we couldn't be prouder to introduce it to everyone!"
